cherry sunkist ist eine one-woman-show, die sich im spielerischen umgang mit synthesizer, drumcomputer, stimme, e-gitarre und computer an der schnittstelle von experiment und pop bewegt. live wird die musik von ihren eigenen videos unterstützt oder von befreundeten künstlerInnen wie doris prlic oder dem kollektiv a.s.a.p.

wings, like the nuggets are born to die young. what girl group nowadays lasts longer than three years? groups like, atomic chicken, I mean atomic kitten, girls aloud and the spice girls can be equated to fast food. we've all watched those howproteins that are chemically extracted at high temperatures from other parts of the chicken (i.e. feet and feathers) and other animal proteins (i.e. pork and beef). this process is called tumbling.
chilo eribienne put together a conceptual art project involving music, photography, a website, a video to-become-famous-overnighttalent shows. what goes into producing one of many kids' favourite meals cannot be far off from producing a girl group. can it?

schwester, mach dir keine sorgen!
candelilla, eine band in der tradition der riot-grrrls der 90er. gitarre, bass, schlagzeug. gebrüll, gesang, gespräch. eine band, die durch non – konformismus vor den kopf stößt. die musik, die erst melodisch-zart klingt, zerfällt im nächsten moment in aggressives chaos, nur um anschließend wieder zusammengefügt zu werden.

eve massacre steht für eine liason von elektro und postpunk, die nicht einfach nur die fußstapfen von le tigre oder chicks on speed noch weiter austritt, sondern auch vor noise core oder grime oder glam pop nicht zurückschreckt.
es ist das soloprojekt von evi von the flamingo massacres, die nach ende der flamingos erst mal den spaß am mixen von mash ups entdeckte um dann die dabei erworbenen musiksoftwarekniffe auch für eigene songs einzusetzen.
beats und sounds werden am computer gebastelt, und dann mit vocals und bass zu songs erweckt; zu songs über die grätsche zwischen ausgeliefertsein und entscheidungsfreiheit, mit unüberhörbar weiblichem (/feministischem) unterton, über politik im privaten, über gefangensein in der sprache, über liebe und sex.

jet and sal are both members of londons ‘queer mutiny’ crew and ‘queers without borders’. they like kinky SM scenes, no border actions, building roadblocks and making trouble for fun. jet is also a member of queer beograd collective.

verzerrter bass, keyboard, drums und engagierte gesangs- und geigenparts. feminism will rock you." - so die kurze selbstbeschreibung von FIRST FATAL KISS. von zuhörerInnen schon mit den SLITS verglichen worden, behaupten die drei musikerinnen mit nicht wenig eitelkeit via POP die eigentliche idee von PUNK zu praktizieren. und negieren damit vehement das etablierte 4 buben 3 akkorde-konzept. da taucht peaches schon mal in der halle des bergkönigs auf, und ausserdem gute mädchen, böse mädchen, keine mädchen, keine buben... der sound lässt so manche konzertbesucherin wehmütig an die 80er jahre denken (vor 10 jahren hättest' mit der musik jedenfalls scheissen gehen können). manchmal sind wir james dean und lotte geht weiter.

act women have been involved in theatre for the sixth year now. coming together from three different cities they direct their multiculturality and dissimilarity towards a global women's active art. through stage manifestations they expose the taboos of contemporary society while constantly provoking the public. they have performed at many international and local events, festivals etc. all of their activities are tied to the freedom of thinking with the aim of de-intimizing the feminist's, lesbian's and woman's life.
